A message from our founders:

VMAC was founded to provide a home and community for anyone looking to dance. Dance is one of the few art forms that is both physical and creative. This combination sparks immense joy; something everyone should get to experience in their life.

To make high-quality dance training accessible for everyone, we need to evolve the traditional dance education model by:

• creating more inclusive training practices and environments
• better supporting dancers' mental health
• improving training techniques to reduce injury and accommodate different body types and ages
• decolonizing dance and educating on the contributions of BIPOC and other underrepresented artists 
• reducing financial barriers

VMAC Next Gen's mission is specifically aimed to address these issues. By providing training and an environment that better supports all dancers' physical, mental, and socioeconomic needs, our dancers and community will be more vibrant, creative, empathetic, and successful.
